What age should a child say their ABC's?

The English language alphabet contains 26 letters.  This includes 5 vowels; a, e, i, o, and u along with 21 consonants.  Children can usually begin to identify some letters by age 3 but can start learning letter names and sounds much earlier.  Start with short practice sessions each day. You can use colorful flash cards, sing alphabet songs, and play letter games to make learning fun and engaging. Your child will master their ABC’s before you know it.
