How do you introduce the number 4 to preschoolers?

Introduce single digit numbers to preschool children early to help improve their math fluency.  Use flash cards and everyday objects to reinforce ​​​​number recognition.  Engage your preschooler’s senses by saying the number 4, showing them the flash card, and having them touch and count 4 individual objects.  If you are on the go, ask them to count and show you 1, 2, 3, and 4 fingers. This is a fun way to encourage fine motor skills while learning small numbers.
